For 17 years, we’ve responsibly crafted footwear to help everyone get outside, and connect with each other and the world around us. Now, with COVID-19, wearing masks on our faces is just as important as wearing shoes on our feet when we head out. So, we converted a production line at our own factory in Thailand to make them. We’re on a mission to make wearing a mask feel, well, almost normal — an everyday accessory that helps our community stay healthy. Crafted from upcycled materials originally sourced for our shoes, our earloop cloth masks are designed to be worn like clothing. With a four-way stretch fabric for all-day comfort, these face coverings are washable and reusable to minimize impact on our planet.

“As the world adjusts to life with COVID-19, we know that wearing masks in public will be an important part in keeping this virus in check until a vaccine is developed and widely applied. Until that time, we are supporting the CDC recommendations regarding the use of cloth face coverings, by making comfortable masks that people feel good about wearing every day in public.” said Erik Burbank, KEEN Chief Brand Officer.

100,000 FACE MASKS FOR GROCERY WORKERS AND OTHERS

In April 2020, we gave 100,000 pairs of shoes, about $10,000,000 worth, to healthcare workers and other everyday heroes as part of our Together We Can Help initiative. We’re keeping the love going by donating 100,000 KEEN masks to more folks on the front lines, like Fred Meyer grocery store clerks and their families.

On Earth Day, KEEN also handed out masks to all KEEN HQ [USA] employees and their families here in Portland — from over 6 feet away, of course. (Hi, KEEN building and coworkers that we haven't seen in over a month!) We all got a few extra masks to share with neighbours and friends, too.

KEEN MASKS FOR KEEN FANS...COMING SOON! Want one for yourself? We are currently designing a full line of masks that will be available in late June for fans to purchase. Stay tuned! In the meantime, stay home and please help protect everyone by wearing masks when you venture out. #TogetherWeCanHelp
